Building a desktop (for real this time)

Yes I've made these threads before and never went through, but this time I already have the funds to spend.

I will be building a desktop in the next couple of a weeks and I would like to get some suggestions. I put together a wishlist on newegg, but their sales change pretty often, so some of them already expired, but I am just looking to get something on the level of what I picked out (cheaper would be nice).

The reason why I picked an i7 CPU is mostly because after I build this I most likely will not be able to afford an upgrade until I'm out from college (in 3.5 years), so I need it to last me that long, preferably still running all games on high settings.
